"The walls between art and engineering exist only in our minds."
- Theo Jansen
Theo Jansen, the Dutch kinetic artist-engineer-architect, had an exhibit at the Gwacheon National Science Museum in Seoul recently. Jansen makes models that resemble animal skeletons and can actually move. Usually they are tested on the beach and are powered by the wind and have even "learned" to not walk into water. While these look like animal skeletons they are not like any animals skeletons and are in fact "bred" by Jansen.

I cannot get over the number of parts.
