The path the spirits walk on - DO NOT WALK IN THE CENTER!
Professor Pai showing us the route. It looks easy here...little did we know...
This isn't bad. Oh wait, we're not actually on the hike yet.
Apparently Koreans are really good at archery.
You can barely even see where the targets are.
Two little monkeys.
The group taking a rest.
If architecture doesn't work out, Sluks can always become a Serbian gymnast.
Halfway up!
Still only halfway up, but I needed a longer break.
Three quarters of the way!
Other side of the mountain three quarters of the way up.
Backside of the mountain 7/8th of the way to the top!
AT THE TOP!!!
E and Sluks at the very top!
Woo! The rock on the top of the mountain = the VERY top!
Glamorous group shot!
I didn't want to miss anything, so another picture from the top.
(More) Proof I was there!
One of the old city walls that is being repaired.
This is just after we decided to walk down the other side of the wall...to a trail that no one has used in years...that is straight down (literally, there was a ladder for part of it)...and where the "Corn Incident of 2010" occurred. (Don't worry Mom!)
Mandu!!! From one of the best mandu places in Seoul!
(Jordan will be so happy)
Space Group Building designed by Kim Swoo Geun
Not the facade, just the side that faces the street.
The real facade.
Reception desk (but I really like is the photo collage/section on the wall)
Inside the offices.
Space is one of the best architecture magazines in Korea...now we know they're secret.
The building had a lot of angles (and left over holes).
On the roof which looks out on to one of the palaces.
Uh oh! Don't fall in!
That's a little cubby hole for notebooks.
Sluks and Jumi
A traditional Hanok house in the building's courtyard.
One monster trapped in a glass box.
And now she is being an architect...
The new addition to the Space Group building.
Old + New
New stairwell
Paper wall-covering over the brick
Look Jonathan! A creepy paper mache sculpture!!! Mr. T can have a friend!
Cool reception desk in the gallery space.
An exhibit in the gallery
I spy a little Sluks!
The models are of genetic make ups of plants...
the plants are kept in this weird solution and hung on the walls.
