"Camping" Korean Style

I was told we were camping for the night with the Korean architecture students we're working with. I packed outdoor clothes, sneakers, sunscreen, etc. All of these things turned out to be unnecessary.

At first I was nervous by all the debate over the map and GPS, but things worked out.

The van fit 12. It resembled a clown car when we would get in or out.

View from our room (note: not tent)

Brendi out on the balcony. What kind of camping is this?

The accomodations

Our "tent"

Jumi on beach!

Its hard to notice but there is a jumping fish

We actually just left him here

The cover to their next album.

Sandal tans are awesome

Wash U + Konkuk = ?
It kept getting washed away before Jumi could finish

OMG! Look!

This wasn't staged

Neither was this one.
We just love it here so much we're always jumping around flashing the peace sign.

"Hiking" back to base

Its a long walk, but we came prepared.

The Happy Marriage Arch
(Where Brendan and I later got married in a very traditional Korean ceremony)

Real Korean BBQ for dinner

Jerry is the best cook

FIRE!

Mmmm good food

Girl bonding game of Kings

Why does everyone look so weird?

Because we had chopsticks stuck to our necks. duh.

Patty is the card monkey...

... I'm the card troll...

...and Brendan is surprised

Elisa with her future husband
(She'll thank me one day for taking this)

Chan and E are the card trolls...looks a little crowded

Kimchi!

We tried to find a norebang in the area, but none were open...

...so we decided on a late night snack

...of oysters!
